The British summer has arrived, and with it, the excitement of dining indoors at your best local restaurants. Rabbit is a Chelsea favourite amongst residents and visitors to the hubbub of King's Road. For those looking to escape for an afternoon into our stylish slice of the countryside, a Sunday lunch at our farm-to-fork restaurant will not disappoint. There are few things more British than a traditional Sunday Roast, and as a sustainable, seriously British restaurant, we serve one of the best in London!
Just a short walk from Sloane Square station, and an even shorter walk from the Duke of York Square, Rabbit is the ideal location for a spot of delicious Sunday roast after shopping on the King's Road or after a lovely walk through Chelsea's green spaces.
Our restaurant serves seasonally rotating menus made with responsibly sourced produce, some of which come from our family farm in West Sussex; otherwise, all ingredients come from sustainable British farmers. Our West Sussex farm hand-rears rare breed pigs, Simmental beef, and Sussex Lamb that are all high-welfare, free-range, and butchered in-house for the restaurant, ensuring that no meat or cuts go to waste.
We like to call the Sunday roasts at Rabbit "Sundays on the Farm" because our menu and the restaurant atmosphere directly reflect our way of life in the West Sussex countryside. With comforting, big-hearted roasts complimented by seasonal, fresh vegetables, roast potatoes, and Yorkshire puddings. All of our roasts are served with a deeply-flavoured jus made with stock from our own pork, beef, or lamb.
We have given our Chelsea Sunday Roast a seasonal makeover with light, vibrant ingredients and a summery take on traditional sides. Guests can enjoy a pescatarian or vegetarian roast as well that does not compromise on effort or flavour. Our roast fillet of Turbot is a beautifully fresh dish made using sustainable fish from British dayboats. Vegetarians love our roast celeriac steak, a meaty vegetable that holds its own against a roast lamb or roast beef.
For the best Sunday roast in Chelsea, look no further than Rabbit restaurant on the King's Road. Sit back in our country-meets-city restaurant space, and enjoy an exceptional dining experience in the heart of Chelsea.
